Solution notes

Harmonics are always tricky.  And just because I used natural harmonics for this problem doesn't mean it made it easier.  In fact in some ways it made it more difficult as naturally harmonics can occur in many places on the fret board.  Some of the submissions that came in for this were pretty close.  At the time of me typing this page nobody hit the correct positioning of the harmonics 100%.  However, some did nail the pitches 100% and that's what we were after here.  Harmonics are the easiest way to prove that you have no way of knowing exactly where a player played something unless you were there when it was recorded.  The people that always need to be right often find themselves sadly disappointed or angry when they see a transcription that differs from how they do it.

Overall, it's best to just worry about matching the pitches and don't give yourself a headache trying to find exact positioning with harmonics.  There aren't any real tells per say.  Like wound string vs. non wound.  It's just about the pitches and logical positioning, but as you'll see from the tabs below, problem 11 had nothing to do with logical positioning, I'm all over the place, but the pitches could easily have been done over the 12th, 5th, and 7th frets only.  All I really care about and all you should care about is that you nailed the pitches.  If not follow the advice I gave in the ear training forum.
