Intro

Free time

Use humbucking pickup if possible, but single coil will do.  This is the classic funk effects combo, but it's also popular in "another" form of music as well.  For those confused, it starts with "P".

Free time ends.  Tempo is now 110 bpm

Drums kick in here, and I do a more laid back version of the main theme riff tabbed above.

The Stanford and son bridge riff.

That's right Stanford, not Sanford.  It's not the same riff, I changed it up a bit.

This riff is done by 3 guitars.  Much the way the Sanford and son riff is done.  1 and 2 play the exact same riff one octave apart, and guitar 3 plays the ending riffing only, but 1 octave higher than the Guitar 2 part does.

Pre solo transition

2 guitar parts 1 part plays a chord riff and the other does a tap fill.

With wah and phaser.. Depress wah all the way down for each chord hit.  Do not release the wah.

Solo

This solo was done with Wah and phaser, the wah pedal is just left in the depressed position to create a very mid-rangy sound.

The solo is over the main theme riffing.  So in other words the whole solo is over the F#m13 chord riffing except where I indicate a change at the very end.

Scale lead in.  Pick quickly with stagger feel.  Think, Girl gone bad.
